Granting credit is a voluntary choice for the bank, credit card company or other financial institution. The credit granting criteria are covered by the bank’s business secrecy and for this reason, they are not liable to disclose them to the customers. The customer has the right to be informed about the reasons for not granting credit only in cases where the refusal of a credit has been based on the customer’s existing default payment recording and the register in use for the purpose.
